Professinal Ethics

This query is : Resolved

16 August 2007 Hi Guys,

I have completed my CA-Intermediate and am preparing for CA-Finals. I was going through the Professional Ethics for a CA and while reading CA-website ethics I came across the terms "PULL REQUEST" and "PUSH REQUEST". Can anyone of you suggest or give me examples of these requests. Alternatiely if you can suggest a website where I can find the examples for these would also help me.

Thanx & Regards
Ghouse

17 August 2007 If you enter a particular website name in your browser and then that website opens, It is called PULL REQUEST.

If any website opens without your intervention (For example advertisements), It is called PUSH REQUEST.

For example,

Open the following site:
www.rediff.com

Main window(Rediff) opens is PULL REQUEST.

In addition, you will get one advertisement without your request for such page. This is called PUSH REQUEST.

A CA's Website should be PULL only But not PUSH.

You to open the aforesaid website definitely you can understand the difference.

All d best for your Final.

17 August 2007 If u have completed ur Intermediate and read thoroughly Information Technology, U must read about Push Technology and Push Technology ( I think in Ch-11). It is the same concept.
