18 January 2011 our firm paid Rs 20,200/- in single payment in cash towards transport charges on this tds will be dedcuted or not and it is pad to a single transporter

18 January 2011 Siva Krishna...Just take PAN no. copy of transporter and no need to deduct TDS even paid to single trasnporter. However, please keep in mind that you can pay cash to any transporter only upto Rs. 35,000.
