30 May 2008 Hi Everybody!
I'm doing my CA in Bangalore n currently have registered myself in Southern Regoin n my 6 months articleship is already over under new scheme now I want to go to Delhi(Northern Regoin) n Continue my CA n articleship there. I want to knw if I hav to change my registration no. or not , n i also want to know the procedure for changing the place of doing CA.
Pls Help

30 May 2008 i don't think u need to change reg. no. u can take transfer under any member. but i have heared abt some ban on transfers by icai, although not confirmed.

u look into ur training guide for transfer procedure and then contact the member under which u want to go. then, send some forms (mentioned in guide) to icai for effecting transfer. i think regions not have to do anything in this case.
