01 June 2016 sir, plz suggest about the procedures regarding income tax relief for arrear of salary i.e procedure of how to claim relief......................

01 June 2016 2 Steps in 2 different conditions
(A) 1. if you prepared 10E for take relief u/s 89(1) and give to employer for non deduction or lower deduction if they considered your deduction will be nil or lower and employer will show 89(1) relief in form 16 2. while filling income tax return you also have to file 10E in income tax portal to avoid demand for what you have get relief u/s 89(1).
(B) 1. if (A1) is not granted for any reason and tax deducted including arrears then you have to calculate 89(1) first to know how much refund you will received while filling 10E. 2. same as above (A2) but this time if you forget to file 10E then you will not get refund. amount of relief will be given as refund after filling return.
Both way you can claim your relief u/s 89(1).
