31 May 2016 Dear Sir,

If we import goods from outside india, the custom duty is exempted on electrical goods(like mobile parts) in semi Knocked down form .what is the procedure to availing exemption of custom.

30 July 2016 You may file Bill of Entry for home consumption indicating in the relevant column the number of Notification granting Customs Duty exemption. Accordingly, you will be assessed to exempt tariff and goods cleared.
