Procedure for opening an unit of existing pvt ltd

31 August 2011 Can anyone plz suggest me regarding the following :
1. Can an existing private limited can open a unit in different name?? If yes kindly let me know the procedure...
2. Is there any procedure involved in opening an unit of an existing private limited apart from passing an Board resolution???

02 September 2011 Dear Chitra,

There is no procedure involved in starting the new unit of a pvt co. Start with a new name and enter the line (A Unit of X Pvt Ltd). its enough.

For Eg. X pvt ltd co has its own business and later starts another unit with a new name of Y. In that Y unit it must written A UNIT OF X PVT LTD.
