In the Financial Year 2008-09, Sales Tax Assessment for Financial Year 2005-06 has been made and Demand raised for Rs.24,000/- for Fiancial Year and the assessee paid, Pls. advise me whether it has been deductible expenses in financial year 2008-09 or not. Whether it has been treated as prior period item.
