Prior Period Exp.

02 July 2011 I recd. a bill from my consultant dated 29.6.10, but exp is related with 2009-10 and i did not Dr.it in P/L of 2009-10,

1. My first question is that can I Dr. this Exp.of 2009-10 in P/L of 2010-11 for income tax purpose

2. And If Exp is allowed should I deduct and deposit TDs without Interest or TDS with Interest

you can debit expenses of 2009-2010 in P/L of 2010-2011 of income tax.

Expenses pertaining to last year, will not allowed next year.

The Tds may deduct on the same bill in next year, tds deposit without interest.





03 July 2011 please clear you answer ,yes or no.
In first line you agreed thal exp allowed in 10-11
but after yot wrote not allowed as per act

and tell if exp not allowed ,is tds still deductable or not
