Principal Resigned from Firm

My article ship training was completed on 28 October 2016 but my principal resigned from firm on 04 October 2016 ( he has not surrendered his COP).
Please advise me what to do.
Whether to get my form 108 signed from my principal ???

Get the signature from the CA under whom your articleship is registered.
