02 February 2008 Preparation of Accounting manual is n elaborate exercise. The basic points to be kept in mind are:

1.The nature of company's business.
2.The requirements of scedule VI of companies Act.
3.The Accounting standard requirements
4.MIS requirements.
5.The requirements of various tax laws.
6.Reconcilliation requirements of costing and financial accounting requirements.
