Are practice manuals change every year? My CA final attempt is due on nov. 14 and I have practice manuals edition 2012 . . Advise me whether I start doing that for sfm nd costing or wait for latest i.e, 2014 edition?

Practice manual is generally issued in january ,that remains applicable for 2attempts -may and nov.
Since your attempt is nov14 there will be changes in dt,idt,isca,law ,audit.
Do not wait for latest material.just start your preparations right now.Later on you can download latest practice manual from icai's site
