Princiapl tax free of NSC and interest taxable on acrual basis.

In addition, Interest on NSC will also be claimed as deduction u/s 80C.

I know nsc 6th year int.'s deduction is available in 80c because it is reinvested
what about in maturity

Maturity principal proceeds not taxable. accrued interest allowable u/s 80C.
