i want to invest in Pf can you please provide me the pros and cons of investing in PPF.

Besides this i want to know whether the interest and the maturity receipts are taxable or exempt at all.

and If i will invest Rs70,000 p.a for 15 years what will be the amount that i will receive after 15 years.

Please take this issue an urgent and reply asap

25 February 2012 interest and maturity receipt are exempt.
maximum contribution per year raised to 1 lacs.
interest rate of ppf keeps on changing, hence accurate prediction of the amt after 15 years cannot be made.
