I am first year engineering student,but really intrested in doing b.com and perusing c.a
my questions are
1.should I drop my engineering college
2.I have never learned account but maths was my favourite subject so would it be really difficult fivefold c.a.??
3.I am from science background,can I peruse c.a.??

See,first of all as per the norms of ICAI(CA Institute),you are not permitted to pursue more than 1 course with CA & that too that course should not interrupt with your articleship/training(3yrs mandatory training under a practicing CA).Generally students take up correspondence course along with CA.
Now,as far as engineering is concerned ,both CA & B.tech are miles apart.In no case you should try your hands in both at same time.Rather complete your b.tech & then come in CA through direct entry .
since you are from science background ,you should clear your accounting concepts from 11th &12th std accounting books( T.S. grewal) before appearing in CA-CPT(entrance exam) & opting for b.com
