Pls. Solv Below The Customs sum
Mr. Q, an Indian resident visiting London, brought the following goods while
returning to India.
i. personal effects values at Rs. 20,000
ii. 2 litres of liquor valued at Rs. 2,500
iii. New camera of Rs. 45,000
What is the Customs duty payable?

Upto 2 litres of Liquor Rs.2,500 and New Camera Rs.45,000
Total Rs.47,500
Deduct Rs.25,000:General Free Allowance Available,
Balance (Rs.47,500-Rs.25,000)Rs.22,500 Taxable
Duty pay@35%+3% Cess = Rs.8,111.25
Taxable:
