26 February 2010 I was in business of resturant upto 06-07 from 07-08 I am started new business of provision store and also filed return for the year 07-08 & 08-09.

After some time a.y. 2007-08 on resturant name the notice is come today so I have to do in this concern.

When I have no more business now and for that notice a.y. 2007-08 I have filed return on provision store and IT is asking for resturant return income.

Do I have to filed new return or then what i have to do ?

pls guide me urgently.

26 February 2010 for this you need not to revise your return, but you have to comply the notice and whatever you have declared in your return to be substantiated with evidence.further, how you have adjusted the the accounts of the previous business in your books, he may ask for.

26 February 2010 Dear Sir,

1. U submit the closure letter filed with the sales Tax department for surrender of registration.

2. Submit the Termination of Rental Agreement, if the premises is rental.

3. How did u settle the employees last payment? If ESI or PF regn. there? submit the closure of ESI and PF Account?

4. Usually, the department maintain the file on Proprietor's name ie., on PAN based? U didn't mention, wh. the Rest. is prop. or Partnership Firm? Plz., check
