I am new for tds. I want to know about tds rules regulation which help me to work properly in my company. I want to know how to file tds return or e-tds return.please answer my question.

17 July 2012 TDS Return.

First of all you need to have a software. The popular s/w in the industry are Webtel, eTDS, compuTDS.

There you will be required to fill the details like deductee details, deductor details and challan detals.

After verifying the same, if there is no error you can prepare the FVU file.

Take this file in CD and submit to the broker (Also pay him requisite fee).

You can get the address from internet.

Pooja Law House at ITO is also providing all these softwares.

If i have Tally ERP 9 than i need these tds software or not.can i do all work in tally erp 9. answer me.
