Dear experts,
Please help.I have received a demand notice from income tax department for FY 2010-2011.Tax has been deducted at source and deposited.rectification status says Demand determined.What are the proceedures now?Please do help!

If there is no Tax due by you than you should file an application to your jurisdictional AO regarding this matter as well as you must submit the same to Aaykar Seva Kendra(ASK).

No there is no specific format for this.
But while writing letter do not forget to quote PAN, Assessment Year, Demand, Date of receipt of demand notice and the most important CPC Reference number.

Check your account with 26As and find out the TDS as claimed by you and credit not allowed by the department. If this is the position then kindly ask the concerned parties to deposit the TDS and revise the TDS return and after the amount appears in 26AS then you file rectification online
