30 April 2009 My Freind was doing CA but did not clear final exams.....He is CA-inter..........Also he didnot appear in exams for last 12-13 years as he went overseas.

Now he wants to continue and finish his studies.WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS WITH HIM TO DO SO?
His Registeration is dated back to 1985 and has completed his articleship,too.Please GUIDE ME for my Freind as he is in India and want to finish his CA.What he need to do.....please

30 April 2009 Now he has to join a fresh under the new regulations.Depending on his age and financial committments he has to firmly decide and join. Otherwise time and money will be wasted. But once he completes his ca and sicne he would have already acquired 12years of experience he will get good position and pay.

30 April 2009 THANX for your reply and time.....He is 42 years now.........do you mean he has to undergo.the articleship again..........or...what are other options.

He is Ca-inter and ICWA-inter and is working as CFO..now his contract is geting expired so he wish to settle down in INDIA.......Will he get a good remunerative offer/placement or he has to struggle a lot.his present salary is approx. 2 lac per month i.e,approx.25 lacs per annum.CAN HE GET A SUITABLE JOB IN INDIA TOO.

30 April 2009 He can do now. Now if he spends 3 years he will be 45 when he completes.Since he has already completed inter then he can choose for exemptions also in some papers based on his prior completion of ca inter and can complete his final. Once completed he has bright chances for CFO position which is very important for listed comapnies.
