I want to pursue B.Com and then start doing CA. I'm writing CPT this June. My dad is a CA and he is saying that if i do B.Com my mind will stray and i wouldn't be interested in doing CA when i get graduated. But i am strongly against it. I've dreamt of becoming a CA since i was a child. And i strongly believe that i would pursue CA after college and even that i can do it side by side. Is it possible? or what my dad says is true?

Cant say all students are like same.But i have see some students who have becomes as your father said.
Moreover after passing ipcc and starting articleship you cannot do any course which requires classes during articleship time,.
so you better do ca directly and you can do b.com via distance mode through icai ignou
