My factory is register in Gujarat from where sale is made and purchase done . books of account maintain in mumbai. Tax audit is applicable. Place of supply for the audit services is Gujarat or maharastra.

- The audit service is performed on books maintained in Mumbai, so the place of supply is Maharashtra.
- If your auditor is located in a different state than Maharashtra, IGST will apply.
- If both auditor and books are in Maharashtra, CGST + SGST applies.
