is it compulsory to maintain PLA for the payment of excise duty?
in case of maintaining of pla by the company how that three copies of to be distributed?
how frequently we have to submit to the department?
is there any specific format?

Yes its compulsory to maintain PLA for the payment of Excise Duty
First two copies send along with Excise Return to Range office and third copy is office copy.
if duty paid then PLA must deposit along with return
yes there a formate describe in central excise mannual for PLA.
you can use Excel formate of PLA after downloading.
