23 March 2012 How can an entity get the approval to employ the apprentice?(apprentice -who are exmpted from PF & ESI compliance)

Whether is it mandatory to offer the PF & ESI benefit for the casual labours?

24 March 2012 When the letter of appointment or authorisation is issued it must be clearly written that the fellow employed is a trainee or apprentice and will be paid only the stipend and not the salary.

Casual are always casual but if they are coming and doing job for 30 days or more in a year then they are liable for the benefit. In case of any factory if they work as a daily workers then they must be registered under PF
