03 March 2013 hey guys please lemme know the contributions made by the Employer and Employee for the following-(For Assessment Year 2013-14)
1. Provident Fund
2. ESIC

and also the administration charges made by the Employer for the following-
1. Provident Fund
2. ESIC.

Its very urgent guys so please tell me.

03 March 2013 Both employer and employer contribute 12% of basic salary towards provident & Pension fund. Employers are require to pay 1.1% of basic as administration charges, .0.5% of pension basic as EDLI and .01% of pension basic towards EDLI admin charges.

Rate of contributions for ESI are 1.75% and 4.75% of total salary by employee and employer respectively.

Also if you take Insurance from any other company you are eligible to get exemption from contributing for Ins. Charges of PF Scheme.
