Dear Sir
Our employer is making the payments of the telephone bills of some managerial employees. The Telephone (BSNL Land line) is owned by the employee.
Please let me know that this amount is taxable in the hands of the employee. Can I treat this is a Perquisite.

It is not taxable in the hand of the employee but sometimes yhe income tax officer treat part of the expenses as used for personal purpose at the time of assessment.
