15 August 2009 hello frens and seniors....

plz help

m not getting how to start with pcc tax preparation....

there are lot of sections and provisions in it...

from which section or chapter should i initiate and what sequence should i adopt.....

and how to remember them...

my exams are in this nov only....

and i m having v k singhania...

plz guide frens........

first of all, best of luck for your preperations and exams

you should start with residential status and other basic concepts.

Then move towards heads of income Salary, then House Proiperty, then PGBP, then Capital Gains and then Other Sources.

then go for Deductions.

after that, you should try to attempt the questions for total income.

and then go for other remaining topics.

to remember the sections, you should read them in sequence and keep on remembering it and evaluate yourself by checking any of sections while you are not studying.

this may help you out.

Accounts- Shukla & Agrawal

Auditing- VK Agarwal OR Padhuka

Law- Munish Bhandari OR M.P. Vijaykumar

Ethics & Communication- M.P. Vijaykumar OR Padhuka

Costing- S.N. Maheshwari & Padhuka

F.M.- Saxena & Vashist & Padhuka

Taxation- T.N.Manoharan/ Dr.Vinod Singhania/Girish Ahuja

Information Technology- Padhuka

Strategic Management- Padhuka or Dinesh Madan

Also refer Scanners and Suggested Answer issued by ICAI for previous year exams and revised them properly.
