08 April 2008 hi sir can any one clear my dought i have pased my cpt in aug 2007 nif i start my articleship in this month i.e apr 2008 n do frankling in apr 2008 n submit my documents in local icai in may or june with late fees when will be my attemt i.e in nov 2009 or may 2010? pls answer sir.

08 April 2008 Dear Khaleel,

If u in-turn do as mentioned in your doubt, u can PCC in Nov 2009 as according to the rules of ICAI you should have 15 months of articleship traning as well as 3 months of compulsory study leave before ur PCC attempt. If u calculate from May 2008 (18 Months) will be OCT 2009.

Hence you can write Nov 2009 attempt.

Hope ur doubt is clear now.
