14 April 2011 As the timetable of PCC and IPCC exams are same Can anybody give me the clarification in regard to allocation of marks in taxation paper since 50 marks are allocated for Service tax and Vat in IPCC exam and 25 marks are allocated for service tax and vat in PCC exam,i mean whether there is any change in marks allocation in PCC for service tax and vat , thanks in advance.

14 April 2011 You can allocate the time according to the marks.

Half of the exam time cane be allocated to Tax and remaining half can be divided in to Two for VAT and service tax segment.


Here however require a balance over all the three segment since over timing in one segment can cause under timing of other segments.
