If you've paid an outstanding demand raised by the CPC via your bank account after agreeing to it, and are unsure how to confirm this payment, there are a few options. You can wait for the payment to reflect in your 26AS, which may nullify the demand automatically. Alternatively, consider filing a revised return or rectification, attaching proof of payment to get the demand nullified. Ensure you retain all transaction records for your reference.
