Paying outstanding tax

I have seen some outstanding taxes for AY 2009-10 in incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. I have paid the amount 15 days back and can see that form 26AS of AY 2009-10 is updated with that payment. But outstanding request is still appearing in incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. Do I need to do anything else or the outstanding amount will disappear in time? Thanks.

After receipt of intimation from you with the details of payment of tax by the CPC then only it will adjust your outstanding demand with your payment. So give the intimation to CPC or file rectification return for that assessment year with the details of payment of tax.
