09 March 2013 Dear Expert,

When i was 6 month that time i and my mom dad migrate from nepal after that i never gone to nepal i permanently settle here. I did my schooling and graduation from mumbai and I had all proof of identity & Resident like PAN, Votor ID,Ration Card,Adhar,Driving Licence,bank paasbook and College Leaving Certificate. I had applied for passport by registration / neutilization what certificate they will demand for place of bith? or should i have give affidavit?

Please give your valuable suggestion as earliest.

I do not think they will demand any proof for birth place.

09 March 2013 Yes, for applicants born on or after 26.01.89, only Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Authority or any office authorized to issue Birth and Death Certificate by the Registrar of Births & Deaths is acceptable.

09 March 2013 Thanks sir but one layers told me its dpend on your Date of Birth, if your birth is after 1989 then Birth certificate is mandatory. secondly your parents are indian or Nepalis,if Nepalis then you can not get Passport because passport can be issue only to indian citizen

09 March 2013 Who told you that you are not Indian citizen. You have voter card it means you are citizen of India.

whenever you got AADHAR card as well as having various citizen proof for indian citizen who told you?

DO NOT CHAOS AND APPLY FOR PASSPORT on the basis of aadhar card .

09 March 2013 Yes have got aadhar card as well another proof of citizenship.

Ok let me tell you I also born in Janakpur( Nepal ) but I have Indian passport.

09 March 2013 thanks Mr.rameshji i had Adhar and i already applied for passport and my appointment date on 12.03.2013 but one lawyer confused me he said to first apply for Citizenship of india then for passport .....

THE DOCUMENTS MENTIONED BY YOU in the Fresh Passport application is admissible .

hence, if you have Any query post RTI INFORMATION....this is your right and Noted that as per RTI act, 2005 bestowed indian citizen this provision.

irrespective of this layer misguidence present on 12.03.2013.

and produce documents as per above said link till then by.....
