Partners changed causing problem in itr filing

20 July 2013 All the Partners of a Partnership Firm have changed in the FY 2012-13 without making any correction in PAN details. Now i am facing problem to file online ITR of the Firm, an error reflecting a message that - PAN mentioned in personal/Verification section is invalid. What is the solution, please support.

20 July 2013 u need to apply for new pan in case all partners have changed as it amounts to restructuring of pt.firm.

20 July 2013 But sir this Firm is Existing and PAN No. is in use in VAT (sales tax), Service Tax Bank and like more. if i go for new PAN then PAN No. will be changed. Please advice.

22 July 2013 as there is a change in constituency of firm practically speaking new firm is evolved which requires new pan as per cases held in income tax act.

after securing new pan no its advisable to you to intimate various stakeholders and interested parties dealing with u.
