Pan wrongly quoted by employer

Employer has wrongly quoted pan number by writing 'O' instead of 'Q' for last 3 years.

Now what is the procedure to follow for rectification. Is it possible to rectify for all 3 years i.e 2007-08, 2008-09 & 2009-10

31 October 2011 Yes, that PAN error can be corrected by filing the correction statement by an employer only.

You just request them to correct the PAN by filing revised/correction statement of TDS returns for all the FY's.
