HOW DO I VERIFY WHETHER THE PAN NUMBER IS CORRECT OR NOT TO E-FILE THE TDS RETURNS??

when pan nuber is issued to you then physical pan card is available to you this is yours coorect pan number if your pan card is lost then you will log on income tax site and recollect your pan number and apply for duplicate pan card

THERE IS NO SUCH PROVISION THAT A TDS DEDUCTOR OR DEPOSITOR HAS TO SATISFY HIMSELF /HERSELF ABOUT CORRECTMNESS OR OTHERWISE OF A PAN NO/OTHER DETAILS.
WHATEVR THE DEDUCTEE PROVIDES DETAILS , YOU NEED TO FURNISH IN TDS RETURN.
HOWEVR IF YOU GET A DOUBT ON SUCH DETAILS, YOU MAY SEEK DETAILS FROM THE DEDUCTEE TO CONFIRM THE PAN DETAILS.
STILL IF YOU ARE DOUBTFUL, YOU MAY SEARCH PAN DETAILS WITH NSDL OR UTI OR INCOME TAX WEBSITES, TO SATISFY YOURSELF.
