yes a person can have 2 status as mentioned by u. he has to avail 2 different PAN cards. yes he can claim all the deduction applicable for the status separtely.

11 February 2008 Actually, it is not a person having two status. An individual holding PAN is legally different to holding PAN as Karta of HUF. These two will be viewed legally differently only.
