Sir, i need to ask for surrenderig pan of firm,is there any applicaton format to write to AO for this purpose.
or a simple application could be given ?

You cannot surrender PAN card. There is no provision for surrendering the PAN card.

Sir most of people said that it should be surrenderd to AO of Income tax Office with a application on simple paper.

No it cannot be done. if u r having doubt u plz contact NSDL office. u cannot do that.
You can only get new PAN for old (i.e reprinting) or you can apply for correction in PAN.

If you have 2 PAN then you can surrender One PAN to AO

Sir actually i have only 1 pan of a firm which is not in existence now. so what to do?

Oh sorry you are speaking about firms PAN. So for that you can make an application to AO for the same.

sir there is not any link or application format regarding the procedure for surrendering firms pan card.

But i will suggest u to visit department also. Because the surrender specifies for duplicate card only. so i request u to plz visit department.
