Is their any site available where we can verify the PAN of deductee?

18 January 2010 There is no such site for individual, however for some assessee like bank there is such facility. If you want to check the PAN of any deductee then there is another way, go to pay tax online fill the require details and submit, the confirmation of name will appear.

18 January 2010 Hi, Thanks a lot. This works for individual as well. Once you try to make Advance tax payment Challan ITNS 280, Fill the PAN no. you wish to verify and other details can be anything (don't need to necessary match with Pan) and after pressing proceed it provides the name of the PAN holder. Great !!!. Thanks a lot . It has served my purpose.
