We are a sole proprietery just registered 1 yr back. I want to register my self for vat and Itax online to submit our returns online. I want to know whether PAN no. of the proprieter is the PAN no. of the company

In the given case of sole prop firm, owner's PAN is to be utilised, as there is no separate legal entity of sole-p. firms and hence separate PAN is not issued.

IN CASE OF PROPRIETERSHIP FIRM . NO NEED TO APPLY FOR PAN OF PROPRIETORSHIP FIRM.

In proprietorship concern Proprietor is the only person who managed business so thats why his/her PAN No. is valid for every Registration.
Trade Name = Proprietor means no Difference
