PAN for partnership firms - mandatory requirements

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the mandatory requirements for applying for a PAN card for a partnership firm. Key points include the necessity of a notarised deed and the managing partner's rubber stamp. While partners signing all pages was initially questioned, it's confirmed not to be required if the deed is notarised. The managing partner's designation typed on the original deed is also sufficient, negating the need for a stamp.

29 August 2024 When I look up PAN application process I see that the deed has to be

Notarized
Managing partner should add rubber stamp
Partners and witness should sign all pages.

Are all the 3 above mentioned points mandatory for pan application? Please help

29 August 2024 Yes, except witness. No need of partners signing all page if notarized.
