20 May 2009 Buddy, i can't get ur real reason to get the name of the PAN holder but anyways u can contact NSDL call centers, they will assist u in solving ur problem-Their contact no. are -

Fill up the form No 280.(You need not to enter exact name)
Once you proceed it will show (by way of warning) the name as appearing in Income Tax Department Database for that particular PAN. (if you don’t intend to pay any taxes You may abort there)
