23 July 2012 3 years before i took pan . thru NSDL now only wen i registered my pan for filing my return i noticed that the PAN card data was wrong in department data,my firstname and last name got wrongly interchanged, for my name as as well as for my fathers name . (ie LN MN FN instead of FN MD LN).Den i filed correction form thru NSDL online form but could not send supporting documents and acknowledgemt with 15 days now it been 40 days since i filed my ist application for corection.nw myconsultant says that its better to file new pan correction thru UTI rather than sending old one is dis correct wat shud i do about..

23 July 2012 that 15 days condition is not stringent. I have experienced in one of the cases where the documents were processed by NSDL even though it reached NSDL after 25 days of online application.
