18 December 2011 Two pan cards,one at maternal place and other at in- law place with diferent surnames.Return filed at maternal place and other pan card in use at in-law place in bank a/cs and other transactions. Both details clubed and return filed at maternal place. What to do and how to surrender.

18 December 2011 First of all you did a mistake and violence of statutory requirement.A single person cannot apply for more than one PAN card.

And you have done the same by changing the surname.

U can surrender the PAN card to IT dept by paying the fines.

18 December 2011 No Need to Pay Any Penalty.. Just Fill Up Correction Form.. Mention The PAN No. You Wanted to Keep On The First PAN No. Detail.. & Fill The Other PAN No. Detail to The Below Side Of The Form.. (OTHER PAN ALLOTTED FIELD... Attach Xerox Copy Of Both The PAN Cards..& Also An Cancellation Application With The Form.. Now File The Form With Any NSDL Office & PAY a Fees of Rs.94/-.

29 December 2011 Please fill "CORRECTION IN PAN DATA" and submit copy of both the PAN card and mention in form pan number which you want to surrender. Form will be submitted at NSDL and you need to pay 100/- approx
