02 April 2016 I am applying PAN Card while apply the pan card i have no prove of Date of birth but simply on voter id card written *********year , i have put some date and month and year on printing voter id card , but pan card issue authority please give date of birth prove i have no such prove what to do but i have voter id card and addhar card and no matriculation certificate please suggest

02 April 2016 Applicant without date of birth proof can have only one option to file an affidavit to be sworn before a Magistrate. By this process, any one can get even his/her Birth Certificate also from Local Body (Municipality / Gram Panchayat) by making an affidavit. In such circumstances, one get Pan Card as well as Birth Certificate also.

So you should go for affidavit.

a. Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal
Authority or any office authorized to issue Birth
and Death Certificate by the Registrar of Birth
and Death or the Indian Consulate as defined
in clause (d) of sub-section (1) of session 2 of
the Citizenship Act, 1955 (57 of 1955); or
b. Pension payment order; or
c. Marriage certificate issued by Registrar of
Marriages; or
d. Matriculation Certificate; or
e. Passport; or
f. Driving License; or
g. Domicile Certificate issued by the
Government; or
h. Affidavit sworn before a magistrate stating
the date of birth
