sir but in pancarstatus site shows us following status.
"Income Tax Department (ITD) database shows that you may have been issued PAN in your name. ITD yet to inform status of your application" then i write latter to NSDL..? and my friend neither have old pancard nor remember pan no ..?

if AO charge a penalty then ..? no other way to sourt out

unless you don meet how will this get resorted and why ao will charge u any penalty when u havent made any intentional mostake.
