P2p and r2r jobs meaning

20 February 2014 hi, i want meaning of P2P and R2R jobs.
In many job sites i found p2p and r2r jobs. the post was not mentioned but only p2p and r2r was mentioned. whether it is related to accounts jobs or if someone is selected for such jobs then what kind of work will be allotted to him.
pls give explanation. thanks in advance.

20 February 2014 P2P normally means person to person/peer to peer...alternatively, in relation to accounting, it could also mean Procure to Pay accounting.

R2R could stand for Record to Report...such jobs are normally for accounting jobs.

Such jobs would normally be accounting jobs requiring proper recording to reporting profiles.

personally could be very boring jobs and something a CA should not look forward to

20 February 2014 thank you for reply..
whether R2R job would mean only data entry into computer system..like an employee would be heavily overloaded with invoices for data entry.
or whether job will be for post recording like ratio, variance analysis and related tasks?
i recently gone through one ad of same description for analysis etc..pls resolve query.

20 February 2014 well given that it includes reporting too, there should be involvement of analytical work too..however, quantum will vary from company to company.
