HOW TO PAY THE DEMAND IN THE ASSESSMENT ORDER U/S 143 (3) ONLINE? WHICH CHALLAN TO BE SELECTED AND WHAT IS TO BE SELECTED IN TYPE OF PAYMENT?

Go to: https://onlineservices.tin.egov-nsdl.com/etaxnew/tdsnontds.jsp
The challan that you should use to pay the income tax demand is ITNS 280.
In this you should select - Other than Companines (assuming you are paying tax as an Individual assessee)
Type of Payment will be: (400) TAX ON REGULAR ASSESSMENT
Select the Bank from which you are making payment. Double check your PAN number.
The site will take you to your bank website where you can login and confirm for payment.
