Our Company is Manufacturing unit situated in M.P & Now we want to open a Ware House in Nagpur (Maharashtra), where we wish to transfer our finished product without payment of duty & from Ware House we will dispatch the goods to our customers.
In this matter we want to clear following points.
1/ Can we open A Ware House in Nagpur,Maharashtra
2/ What is the procedure to open a Ware House where our Manufacturing unit in M.P & we wish to open a Ware House in Nagpur Maharashtra.
3/ Can we transfer the finished goods from our factory to ware house & what is the procedure to transfer the goods & what type of records is to be maintain at factory & at ware house & Can we transfer the finished goods from our factory to ware house at Nagpur on "Zero" Excise duty and then sell from Nagpur to the party at Madhya Pradesh after charging Excise duty @ 12.36% & what is the procedure to transfer the goods & what type of records is to be maintain at factory & at ware house.
4/ Can we sale the goods from Ware House to a customers who are exempt from duty. i.e to Mega Power project and to SEZ or Water Project where Rule 6 is applicable.
5/ Where should the Duty has to be paid when we remove the goods from Ware House.
6/ Are any special permission is required for open the Ware House.

as we are not aware of your products and marketing, such permission is not possible in general, but under cover of export bound consignments for transfer to bonded warehouses, such permission may be grnted, with joint inspection and concent of customs and excise.

for general home clearance, duty is to be paid at factory gate, calculate may be be FOR/Ex factory but liability arise as soon as we raise the invoice and goods leave the factory gate.
