Opening of saving bank account.

24 April 2017 I want of open a saving bank account in bank of baroda. A branch is near to my area but I don't want to open my account in that branch. Can I open my account in other branch which not near to my resident.
If bank denies to open my in account in branch so can I complaint against branch for this?

24 April 2017 You can open account at any branch in same city although the bank may suggest to open it at one of the branches nearer to your home. People open at near to work also and you can do kyc wit h your home address. In fact they allow kyc with home town address and you can declare a correspondence address in city where you work for which you may not have to furnish proof of address. A receipt of correspondence or cheque book by you at such place is sufficient provided your KYC is proper with your permanent address at home town.
