06 August 2011 One of my client case assessed for A.y : 2003-04. In 2004-05 A.Y , A.O is disputing opening cash in hand. Can A.O Challange the opending Cash in hand of Assessed. Please quote the citation.

06 August 2011 U can argue that during the Assessment for AY 2003-04, the declared closing cash in hand was accepted by AO and hence once accepted by the department now it cannot be challenged.
