16 December 2009 Sir! One of my claint is having a PAN card with old address.But now I was filed his Income tax return with present addresss through online with out indicating the Ward and Circle.But Income Tax return was successfully uploaded with PAN Card Jurisidication.Kindly tell me is there any problem with this. Address is new but jurisdiction is in old address. Kindly clarify.

16 December 2009 You should inform the concerned ITO and old ITO by writing a letter about change in address. Get stamp of both the ITO's office on your copy.

You should also change your address by making a application (same application for PAN No.). In this way; you will also get New PAN Card if you are having old one.

17 December 2009 Yes Bothway you can do as per mention by Expert.but you have already e-filled your IT return online so you must have to inform the ITO wards about changes.Thatway you adjust the mistake of your E-filling in Old Jurisdiction with New Address.
